M Ghibran Photoshoot Stills

Music composer Ghibran recently met actor Ajith and took to social media to express his joy. In a tweet titled ‘A true fanboy moment,’ the composer said that Ajith’s words: “We will work together soon” was still ringing in his ears.

Ghibran, whose last film was Raatsasan, has a slew of projects lined up, including  Vikram’s upcoming film Kadaram Kondan. Directed by Rajesh M Selva, the movie is produced by Kamal Haasan for whom the composer has become the go-to guy after working on movies such as Uttama Villain, Papanasam, Thoongavanam and Vishwaroopam 2.

He also has Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s House Owner gearing up for release. Apart from featuring Aadukalam Kishore and Pasanga Kishore, the movie marks the debut of Viji Chandrasekhar’s daughter Lovelyn. Lyrics are written by Madhan Karky and Anuradha.

Ghibran, who has established himself in Telugu and Tamil, is set to foray into Malayalam with Fahadh Faasil-starrer Athiran. The movie has yet another Tamil connect in the form of its leading lady Sai Pallavi. The movie is a thriller set in a hospital for those with mind-related disorders, located in a hill station.

The music composer also has Kalavani 2 that will release in the month of May. The shooting for the movie was recently wrapped up, and one of the songs ‘Vottu Kettu Vanthagale’ has already become popular.

Ghibran has also been retained as the music composer for the Telugu remake of Raatsasan. Also, Hansika Motwani-starrer Maha will mark the composer’s 25th project.

In November, the composer was awarded the Confluence Excellence Award in Music at the British Parliament, Palace of Westminster, London.

Meanwhile, Ajith is currently shooting for H. Vinoth’s Nerkonda Paarvai. Though a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan – Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink, the makers have reportedly tweaked the story to suit the taste of the Tamil audience. Produced by Boney Kapoor, the movie features Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam and Andrea Tariang, along with Vidya Balan in a cameo.

Yuvan Shankar Raja composes music for the movie that is slated to release on August 10.
