Vishal’s upcoming Sundar C directorial has been titled Action. The film, co-starring Tamannaah Bhatia and Aishwarya Lekshmi, wrapped up shoot recently.
Two posters from the film have released. One of them features Vishal suspended from a building and the other has him holding a gun, overlooking a city. Sources say that he plays a commando in the film, and travels to different locations to get to the truth behind an incident.

Tamannaah’s role is yet to be revealed, but she said in an earlier report by Midday that this was one of her most challenging roles. She reportedly underwent physical training for the film. Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lekshmi makes her Tamil debut with this movie, and will also star in the lead.
Vishal and Tamannaah were last seen together in Kaththi Sandai, and this is their second film together. Director Sundar C is working with Vishal for the third time after Aambala and Madha Gadha Raja.

The team began shoot in Turkey in March, and later travelled to Azarbaizan, Cappadocia, Baku, Istanbul, Krabi Island in Thailand and Bangkok, and Jaipur and Dehradun in India. The final schedule of the film wrapped up in Hyderabad recently.
Actors Yogi Babu, Pa Karuppaiah, Kabir Singh, Chaya Singh and Ramki are part of the supporting cast. The film has music by Hip Hop Tamizha Aadhi, cinematography by Dudley and editing by Srikanth NB. The stunt-sequences for the action thriller were choreographed by Anbariv, and has been promoted as one of the highlights of the film. During the shoot of an action sequence in Turkey, Vishal was also severely injured and fractured his hand and leg while riding an all-terrain vehicle (ATV).
The film is produced by Ravindran of Trident Arts. Release announcements are yet to be made.
Sundar C is also gearing up for the release of his next acting project Iruttu, directed by VZ Dhorai, on September 13.
