Actor Vishal has been dividing his time between shooting for his films and canvassing for the Nadigar Sangam Elections. Recently, Vishal and his team met Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, to request their support in the elections. Now, Vishal has met actors Vivek, Manobala, and Kutty Padmini, and all three have agreed to support his team. In addition to Vishal, the team includes Karthi, Nasser, Ponvannan, and Karunas. Numbering five, they have informally dubbed themselves the ‘Pandava’ team.

Nasser will be contesting the post of President against R Sarathkumar, while Vishal stands against Radha Ravi for the post of Secretary. According to sources, the three have already met actor Ajith, and will soon meet actor Vijay. The elections were originally scheduled for July 15, but were postponed after a petition filed by Vishal. An announcement on the official date is expected shortly.
