Girish, who has directed the short films Vishuddha Ambrosey and Mookkuthi, has written Thanneermathan Varshangal jointly with Dinoy Paulose.

Meanwhile, Vineeth Sreenivasan is currently shooting for Manoharam. The film reunites him and Ormayundo Ee Mukham director Anwar Sadiq. It is a feel-good entertainer that will go on floors by March 10, and will be shot entirely in Palakkad.

Manoharam is about a man who struggles to cope with life in a digital age. The movie discusses the plight of people whose jobs have become obsolete in the technology-driven era, the director told in a ToI report.

“Right now, technology has opened up several avenues of employment, but it has also depleted certain jobs. As these people are not in the mainstream, not much importance is given to their struggles by those in power. This film tells the story of such a commoner based in Palakkad and how he tries to sustain himself in the modern tech-driven era,” said the director.

The presence of three directors in the cast of the movie makes it noteworthy. Om Shanthi Oshana director Jude Anthony, who did a comical role in Mohanlal’s Velipadinte Pusthakam, and also acted alongside Mammootty in Oru Kuttanadan Blog, will be part of Manoharam.

Kunjiramayanam director Basil Joseph, who had a small role in Mayanadhi is acting in the movie. Director VK Prakash, who has already acted in several movies, is the third director in the cast.

Deepak Parambol and Tamil actor Delhi Ganesh are also part of the movie.
