Actor Vikram’s nephew Arjuman is being introduced as a hero with Dha Dha 87 director Vijay Sri G’s upcoming Polladha Ulagil Bayangara Game or PUBG. The film is a comedy-thriller starring Aishwarya Dutta in the lead.
Arjuman, who is the son of Vikram’s sister Anitha, was approached by Vijay Sri G recently. The director says in a press statement, “He is an enthusiastic actor, and has been formally trained in acting, dancing and stunts. I also liked his look and haristyle, and felt he would be apt for the role of the hero.”
The director recently told Silverscreen that the film stars five leading women, and Motta Rajendran and Julie will be seen in important roles. “Like in an actual PUBG game, the five actors, led by Aishwarya Dutta, are players who join the game to get to the happy ending. Motta Rajendran plays a CBI officer, and has a comic role. Bigg Boss contestant Julie is also part of Rajendran’s team. The film is a thriller that tells a socially conscious story,” he said.
The first schedule completed recently and the second schedule will begin in September in Tiruchirapalli and Goa. Deepan Chakravarthy is the producer of the film and Balaji Bhaskaran is the cinematographer. Other names from the cast and crew is yet to be revealed.
