The Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association (TANTIS) elections was scheduled to happen on July 5. Director Vikraman’s team -consisting of himself, the President, RK Selvamani (Secretary) V Sekar (Treasurer) KS Ravikumar and P Vasu (Vice Presidents) were all set to contest the elections this time as well.
Apart from their nomination, there were none others filed until the deadline on Friday. So, director Vikraman and his team were elected to their positions unopposed, announced the election officer, advocate Sendhilnathan.
The elections for Associate Secretary and the Executive Committee will take place on the 5th of July. It must be noted that many assistant directors contest in the elections for the Executive Committee.
