Actor Vikram and director Gautham Vasudev Menon have resumed the shoot of their Dhruva Natchathiram. According to the film’s spokesperson, the team is filming key scenes in and around Chennai.
The film’s teaser was released earlier this month, and has generated a lot of anticipation among the audience.
According to report in India Today, the teaser was shot in a span of 14 hours in USA.
The spy thriller was in development for a long time, after director Gautham’s initial choice for male lead – actor Suriya, walked away. It took four years for the film to be kickstarted again.
Vikram signed on to play the male lead in 2016; following which Anu Emmanuel was signed on as the female lead. With music by Harris Jayaraj, this film is expected to release in August 2017.
