Vijay’s next film has been titled Puli. Directed by Chimbudevan, the movie features an ensemble cast of Hansika, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, and Sudeep. Puli went on floors in November, and the first schedule was filmed in a massive set that was erected in ECR.

It’s being speculated that the title Puli was registered by SJ Suryah for the Tamil remake of his Telugu film Komaram Puli which released in 2010. SJ Suryah, though, seems to given it up for his long-time friend Vijay.
Recently, Puli‘s producers revealed that the film is not a fantasy-thriller, but a regular commercial-entertainer. The film is expected to be completed by April.
While Devi Sri Prasad composes music, Nataraj handles cinematography. Puli is produced by Shibu Thameen and PT Selvakumar.
