Vijay Sethupathi Has A Crucial Role As Chiranjeevi’s Aide In ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’

 Closing Ceremony At The 15th Chennai International Film Festival

Vijay Sethupathi, who will be making his Telugu debut in Surender Reddy’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, will reportedly play lead actor Chiranjeevi’s close aide in the film. According to a Deccan Chronicle report, the Tamil actor will play Obayya, a trusted aide of freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

The report further adds that while the shooting hasn’t begun, the character sketch for Sethupathi is all set.

Sye Raa is a biopic on the famous freedom fighter from Kurnool. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kiccha Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu, and Nayanthara, and will be bankrolled by Ram Charan.

Meanwhile, Sethupathi will next be seen in Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren, that is scheduled to release sometime early next year. The actor was recently felicitated with the ‘Amitabh Bachchan Youth Icon’ award at the closing ceremony of the 15th Chennai International Film Festival. The actor donated the cash award presented to him for the festival.
