Actor Vijay Antony has teamed up for an action-thriller with cinematographer-director Vijay Milton. The film also stars a second hero, and announcements will be made soon.

The film is backed by the producers of Vijay Antony’s latest film Kolaigaran – Vikram Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Kamal Bohra, and Latha Dhananjayan, wife of Dhananjayan, the film’s distributor. They have collaborated to form a banner called Infiniti Film Ventures.

Dhananjayan announced the news on Twitter, and said the action packed film will be made on a grand scale. Talks are on with prominent artists to be part of the film, a press statement said.

Vijay Milton is the writer, director and cinematographer of the film. It is likely to begin shoot in October 2019, and the makers are planning to complete the film in a single, long schedule. Locations in Goa, Diu and Daman have been finalised for shoot. A title is yet to be decided.

Dhananjayan told Silverscreen, “Talks for the film are on and nothing has been finalised as yet. We are planning to bring in another hero along with Vijay Antony, who will also be a central character driving the plot. We will make further announcements after finalising the cast.”

At the recently Kolaigaran press meet, Dhananjayan revealed that he had plans to make more films with Vijay Antony and that their association will be on for a long time. It is reported that Infiniti Film Ventures is likely to produce a third film with Vijay Antony soon after this.

Vijay Milton is known for films like Kaadhal (2004) and Vazhakku Enn 18/9 (2012) and Kadugu (2017). Following the success of his 2014 film Goli Soda, he made a sequel Goli Soda 2 featuring Samuthirakani, Gautham Menon and others in the cast. The film released last year.

Vijay Antony has Agni Siragugal, Thamilarasan and Kaaki in different stages of production.

Meanwhile, director Andrew Louis’ Kolaigaran has emerged as a box-office hit in Tamil Nadu, and the dubbed version of the film is also doing well in Telugu.
