Maruthi’s film with Daggubati Venkatesh and Nayanthara will begin shooting on December 16. The project was originally scheduled to begin last year, but had to be shelved following allegations that the script had been plagiarised. Maruthi has now reworked the script. With this film, Venkatesh and Nayantara team up for the third time after Lakshmi and Tulasi. Venkatesh dons khaki after a decade, with a role as a comic policeman. He will also reportedly share screen space with a senior Telugu comedian. The makers are believed to be in talks with Brahmanandam. The film is slated to release in the first half of 2016.
