Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara starrer, Velaikkaran’s second single track, ‘Iraiva+ Uyire’ will be out today. The song composed by Anirudh Ravichander, written by Viveka, is touted to be a two-in-one track.

Lyricist Viveka tells Silverscreen, “Like a film, this song also has a first and second half. The first part, Iraiva, is all about the problems a guy faces in life and his pain… ‘Iraiva en iraiva enna thedi en manam yengudhey’… The second half is about love. A girl sings to her lover that she will be with him throughout his life, always supporting him… ‘Uyire uyire en urave, unnai vittu povadhum, saavadhum ondru thaan’. Not just lyrics, the music, tone – the two parts will have different composition.”

He adds, “This is a new attempt and Mohan Raja came up with this concept. Anirudh has nailed it with his composition.”

Nayanthara and Sivakarthikeyan were recently in Rajasthan for the shoot of this song. The film’s shooting is almost over and only a few songs are left to be shot.

This film, directed by Mohan Raja, is scheduled to hit the screens this December. Velaikkaran’s first single, ‘karuthavanlam galeejam’, sung by Anirudh was released a few months ago.
