Remakes, particularly that of Salman Khan’s film which conveniently star Varun, proved to be quite successful for the young actor especially considering how Judwaa 2 crossed the Rs 200-crore mark soon after its release. The film had Dhawan play Raja and Prem, two long lost twins who end up stalking and harassing two women who eventually fall in love with them, amidst a crime plot that figures somewhere in the film.

Meanwhile, Dhawan will next star in Shoojit Sircar’s October.
