Upma Company, the sequel to Kathai Thiraikkathai Vasanam Iyakkam, has been renamed Kadhai Irukku. The film is still in the scripting stage and is likely to have Akhila Kishore in the lead. Santhosh Prathap, Vijayram and Thambi Ramaiah, who made an impression with KTVI, have pivotal roles in the movie. Parthiban will also have a key role. The film is likely to take off in early 2015 and will be made on a shoe-string budget.
