Earlier this month, the spokesperson said, “The film has just been okay-ed by Trisha ma’am, and production work will begin after script work and dates get finalised.” Trisha reportedly plays the lead role with no male lead opposite her. A report by Deccan Chronicle mentions that the movie is a thriller, with an interesting role for the actor.
Trisha is currently working on her much awaited action film co-starring Simran. They are reportedly undergoing marine training, and will be playing sisters. The shooting will happen in Chennai, Kerala, Pichavaram, and Thailand. The film is directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan, and produced by All In Pictures. The action-entertainer marks the third collaboration between Simran and Trisha, who played the role of a friend to Simran in the two-decade-old Jodi. They featured in the Pongal release Petta this year.
Meanwhile, Trisha may be seen opposite Siddharth in the Tamil remake of Andhadhun. Spokesperson for the film told that an official announcement hasn’t been made yet. Reports say that Ramya Krishnan may reprise Tabu’s role, this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Trisha may also reprise Taapsee Pannu’s role in the Tamil remake of the recently released Badla. The film is likely to be directed by Radha Mohan. Her other projects include Garjanai, a film inspired by Anushka Sharma’s NH10, Sathuranga Vettai 2 and Paramapadham Vilayattu. The release dates for these films are yet to be known.
