Trisha Krishnan’s Mother Confirms Breakup

Actress Trisha’s mother Uma Krishnan, in an interview to the Vikatan group,  has confirmed that her daughter’s engagement with producer Varun Manian has been called off.  She said she was unwilling to talk about the specific reasons that led to this decision, but added that  contrary to media speculation,  Trisha continuing to act in movies was not the reason behind the breakup, and that it did not make sense for someone to continue in a relationship that involves a lot of compromise. “”Since I do not want to hurt the sentiments of people involved, I don’t want to get into specifics. This is a sensitive issue.”
