The trailer of Naaigal Jaakirathai was released today. Touted to be a comedy-thriller, the flick features Sibiraj in the lead while a Belgian Shepherd plays a vital role. The filming took place at many locations in Palakkad and Chennai.

While talking to us at an event recently, Sibiraj revealed that he endured 13 dog-bites during the shoot. “The Belgian Shepherd that acts along with me in Naaigal Jaakirathai is so intelligent. The dog was trained to bite on command for our climax scene. And unfortunately, the command was ‘action’. Every time the director went “start, camera, action..”, my canine-friend would come right at my wrist. But it was fun,” laughed Sibiraj.
Directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan of Naanayam fame, Naaigal Jaakirathai is produced by actor Sathyaraj under his banner Nathambal Film Factory. Dharan Kumar has composed music and Madhan Karky has penned lyrics.
