The third look poster of actors Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan starrer Master is out now. Helmed by Kaithi fame director Lokesh Kanagaraj under Xavier Britto’s XB Film Creators banner, the action flick has Vijay reportedly playing a professor. The commercial film will see the actor in a new avatar, as compared to his other films.
‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi is finally unveiled in the third-look poster sharing aggressive space with Thalapathy Vijay. They’re both head-to-head, bare chested, bruised and furious, although Vijay Sethupathi is seen to exude more of the emotion than Vijay.
Vijay called for silence in the previous poster and on the contrary, unleashes his emotions in this.
The makers took to Twitter to release the third-look.

The team completed the third schedule at Shimoga, Karnataka, last month and had begun the next shooting schedule in Chennai in the beginning of this month. Scenes comprising both of the Vijays have been shot . The team is expected to wrap up the shoot by the end of February.
Recently, it was announced that Lalit Kumar’s Seven Screen Studios would be line producing the film. The worldwide distributors of Master were also revealed.

In December, the makers officially announced that Andrea Jeremiah is a part of the film, wishing the actor on her birthday. Actors Nasser, Rajesh, Kaithi fame Dheena and Mahanadi Shankar had also reportedly joined the sets of the second schedule in Shimoga. A month back, actor Sathish K and Lallu had confirmed that they were also a part of the film.
Apart from them, the film hosts talents like 96 fame Gouri G Kishan, VJ Ramya, Arjun Das, Praveen Kumar, Nagendra Prasad, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Lintu Rony, Mathew Varghese, Sunil Reddy, Srinath, Prem Kumar, Soundarya Nandakumar, Chetan, Azhagam Perumal, Brigida Saga, Sanjeev, and Sriman.
The crew was also recently found filming a song with the actor, choreographed by dance master Sathish. Malavika Mohanan, Ramesh Thilak, Sai Dheena, Shanthnu, Arjun Das, Prem Kumar, Srinath, Nagendra Prasad, and Sanjeev Venkat were also spotted at the sets.

On the technical front, Sathyan Sooryan is handling cinematography, Anirudh is composing music and Philomin Raj is on the edit. Aadai fame director Rathna Kumar has been brought on board to pen the additional screenplay and Stunt Silva for the action sequences. Dinesh Kumar has choreographed the opening song of the film.
Recently, rumours were rife that Master is a remake of the 2011 Korean film Silenced helmed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, but were later refuted by director Lokesh. He clarified that the story is based on an original idea conceived and written by him.
Sun Pictures has bagged the satellite rights of the untitled film for a “whopping” price. Amazon Prime has reportedly bought the digital rights of the film for the OTT platform.
Master will reportedly hit screens in April 2020.
