Arun Vijay, who starred in Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, is back on screen with Thadam, directed by Magizh Thirumeni. The second trailer of the film released recently.
The trailer promises a nail-biting investigative story that reveals the dark side of Arun Vijay’s character in the film. He looks tough as the dialogue, “Poramai, kovam, verupu,” is heard. The film is a racy thriller with cops trying to investigate a murder which happens in the open, but there is no witness or evidence. The romantic side of Arun Vijay’s character is also shown.
The trailer says that the movie is based on true stories. Director Magizh is said to have made an effort to examine the human nature that pushes one to commit a crime. Yogi Babu, who has already been a part of a number of movies this year, makes an appearance here too. In fact, he occupies the closing shot of the trailer suggesting a significant role for him in the film.
