Tamannaah Joins Nawazuddin Siddiqui-Starrer ‘Bole Chudiyan’

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has joined the Hindi film Bole Chudiyan, co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead. The film marks the directorial debut of Nawazuddin’s brother Shamas Siddiqui..

Tamannaah reportedly said in a statement, “I’m looking forward to this project. The script is good, and this is the first time I will be attempting such a multi-layered character in a mainstream Bollywood film. What really caught my attention was the story, which revolves around a relevant issue.”

The film also stars Anurag Kashyap, reportedly in a cameo. He said, “Yes, I am doing the film, but that’s all I know for now. I have agreed to do the film as this is the first time Nawaz has asked me to do anything, and I trust him.”

Actress Mouni Roy initially signed up to play the lead opposite Nawazuddin, but walked out of the project last month citing differences with the producers. The producers said in a statement that she was unprofessional and did not turn up on time for meetings, and so, they had asked her to quit. Earlier, it was also reported that Shraddha Kapoor was part of the project, but this was not officially announced.

The film is produced by Rajesh and Kiran Bhatia of Woodpecker Movies and will be entirely shot in Rajasthan. Shoot is likely to begin soon.
