Singam 3 has Anushka Shetty and Shruthi Haasan as the female leads. The supporting cast includes Krish, Soori and Radhikaa Sarathkumar. The music for the film will be composed by Harris Jayaraj, replacing Devi Sri Prasad, who had composed the score for the first two films in the Singham franchise.
Hindi television serial actor Thakur Anoop Singh, who played Dhritarashtra in the Hindi TV show Mahabharatha, was roped in to play the antagonist in the movie. Actor Vivek, who was seen in the last two installments is not a part of Singham 3.
Produced by Studio Green’s KE Gnanavel Raja, the film began shooting earlier this year. The movie was mostly shot across Chennai, Vishakapattinam, Madurai and Kaaraikudi. Reportedly, a romantic song, featuring Suriya and Anushka, was shot in Romania.
Earlier this month, the movie’s Malaysian schedule was delayed as the Malaysian Government has demanded a bound script to grant permission for the shoot. The team confirmed that they were heading to Malaysia for a two-week schedule and they will shoot some important sequences apart from a major action block. Apart from that, the team also had one more song to shoot.
Meanwhile, the actor’s next project has also been announced. Directed by Vignesh Shivan of Naanum Rowdy Thaan fame, the movie is tentatively titled Suriya35. The movie has music by Anirudh Ravichander and will be produced by Studio Green and Suriya’s 2D Entertainment. The movie is said to be a romantic-comedy.
Suriya’s 36th film will be produced by his long-time associate, SR Prabhu under his banner – Dream Warrior Pictures.
