Sundeep Kishan Replaces Naga Chaitanya In ‘Naragasooran’

Sundeep Kishan, who recently made waves in action-thriller Maanagaram, has reportedly replaced Naga Chaitanya in Karthick Naren’s Naragasooran. Reports suggest that Naga Chaitanya had to opt out of the film because of his wedding that is slated to take place in October this year.

An IANS report in Indian Express quotes the young director confirming the news. “We met Sundeep last night (Wednesday) in Goa and pitched the story. He was very excited and he immediately came on board. We plan to start shooting from August-end or early September. We are targeting next year release,” said Karthick, adding that the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.

Early last month, it was reported that Naga Chaitanya had walked out of Karthick’s second film due to ‘date issues’. The film was to be Naga Chaitanya’s Tamil debut.

The film revolves around four characters. Indrajith Sukumaran recently joined the project, admitting that he was ‘bowled over‘ by script. Other members of the cast include Arvind Swamy and Shriya Saran in important roles. The movie will be bankrolled by Gautham Menon for Ondraga Entertainment.
