STR has denied recent rumours that he will make an appearance in Ajith 55. Reports had it that the actor, a self confessed Ajith fan, had been roped in for a one-minute appearance in the opening song of the film. STR rubbished the claims and said, “I am a very big fan and would love to do a role with Ajith sir in the future. But, the rumours that I will be seen in the song are baseless. I have not been approached by anybody so far.”
Ajith 55 is being filmed in Chennai with Ajith, Trisha, Devi Ajith and baby Anikha. Directed by Gautham Menon, the film is reportedly a stylish and racy thriller with music by Harris Jayaraj. Anushka Shetty is the female lead while AM Rathnam is producing the project under his Sri Satya Sai Movies.
