SS Thaman, who recently composed the music for Bhaagamathie, will be giving the background score for the Telugu film Happy Wedding, staring Sumanth Ashwin and Niharika Konidela, and directed by debutant Lakshman Karya, according to Deccan Chronicle.
The film is being bankrolled by UV Productions. Meanwhile, Shakti Kanth Karthik of Fidaa fame has been roped in to compose the songs. The film is a family entertainer that explores the emotional bonds between the families of a soon-to-be-married couple.
Senior actor Naresh, Murali Sharma, Pavithra Lokesh, Tulasi, Indraja and others are also a part of the project. Currently the film is in its post-production stage.

Thaman began his career as a composer with the Tamil film Sindhanai Sei, while his first Telugu film was Kick in 2009. He has done more than 50 films till date. Recently, he composed for movies like Sketch, Bhaagamathie, Chal Mohan Ranga, Shivalinga, winner and many others. After Happy Wedding, he has movies like Vaa Deal, Aravinda Sametha, Amar Akbar Anthony, Akhil 3, Bebbuli, Police Tiger and Durga up for release.
Also, Thaman giving the music for Hello Guru Prema Kosame, starring Ram, Anupama Parameswaran and Prakash Raj, after Devi Sri Prasad walked out of the project citing creative differences with producer Raju. This is the second time Thaman has replaced Devi Sri Prasad, the first time was during Tholiprema.
