Actress Srinda Arhaan, who garnered attention through her the film 1983, will be acting in Nivin Pauly’s next film, Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela. This will be Srinda’s third film with Nivin Pauly after Thattathin Maraiyathu and 1983. Ahaana Krishna will play the leading role in this film.
Talking to Times of India, Srinda said “I play Mary, a simple girl in the family entertainer who is neither too traditional nor ultra-modern. It is going to be my second film with Nivin and all I can say is that the humour will be similar to that in 1983.”
In 1983, she played the role of Susheela, Nivin’s naive wife. Her character was humourous and brought her much deserved attention.

“Nivin told me about the film a few months ago. And when I heard the storyline, I instantly fell in love with my part. It would give me enough space to experiment and explore my acting skills. It is a family entertainer with enough suspense elements. Though the movie deals with a serious subject, it is narrated in a lighter vein” Srinda added.
Srinda made her debut in Aashiq Abu’s 2012 thriller 22 Female Kottayam and did some prominent roles in films like Annayum Rasoolum, Masala Republic and Amar Akbar Anthony.
Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela’s director Althaf appeared in a minor role in Nivin Pauly’s Premam. The film will have cast that includes actors from Premam, like Krishna Shankar, Siju Wilson and Sharafudheen.
