After ‘Uthama Villain,’ Kamal Hassan will star in a remake of the Mohanlal-starrer in Malayalam- ‘Dhrishyam.’ Rumours were agog that actress Simran had been approached to reprise the role of Meena in the original. Simran has however denied all such reports and clarified, “I’m currently busy shooting for ‘Dance Tamizha Dance’ and a couple of other projects. I have not been offered any role in the Dhrishyam remake and I’m not involved with the project in any way”.
Meanwhile grapevine is that actress Nadiya has been approached to play the lead opposite Kamal Haasan in the film to be directed by Jeethu Joseph.
