TK Rajeev Kumar’s Sabash Naidu, starring Kamal Haasan, is ready to roll this week. The first schedule begins in the USA, where 80% of the film will be shot. The characters in the film will be extensions of pivotal characters from Dasavatharam (2008), Balram Naidu and Apparao—a RAW agent and his sidekick. Brahmanandam will play the sidekick in the Tamil and Telugu versions, while Saurabh Shukla plays the role in the Hindi version.
Shooting will begin with a chase sequence featuring Kamal Haasan and Brahmanandam. The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Ramya Krishnan, and Roger Narayan in supporting roles. Ilaiyaraaja has begun work on the film’s music. The film is jointly produced by Kamal’s Raajkamal Films and Lyca Productions.
