Rumours were rife that Arka Mediaworks’ Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are not the true producers of Baahubali 2. Recent reports credited Suresh Babu, Raghavendra Rao and Nimmagadda Prasad as having invested a lot of money to produce the Baahubali films.

Reacting to the speculations, the spokesperson for the film said, “The team has seen these reports too, and it’s truly shameful to credit anybody other than Shobu and Prasad for the kind of mind-bending, back-breaking hard work they did to make Rajamouli’s dream a reality. They have been the producers from the start, and it’s all quite transparent really. We should all give credit where it’s due, and not thank people completely unrelated to this.”
Meanwhile, Yarlagadda also refuted such rumours. In a DC interview, he said:
“No, Prasad Devineni and I have produced the film under Arka Media. We are the ones who planned and executed it and everyone complimented us.”
