Shankar Mahadevan is the latest to sing for Prashanth’s Saahasam. The veteran singer has lent his voice for Pattu Selai Vaangi Vandha, along with Shreya Ghoshal. While Shreya recorded her portions a week ago, Shankar participated in the recording more recently. The lyrics have been penned by Kabilan. On both occasions, the film’s lead Prashanth was present and was ‘mindblown’ by the music. Said Prashanth, “No matter how many times I listened to the songs, I couldn’t pick one over the other. But this song with Shankar sir has to be the best yet. He is a flamboyant singer, and to have him sing for me is a special thing.”
Besides Shankar and Shreya, several other prominent celebrities are a part of this movie’s soundtrack. Anirudh Ravichander, Mohit Chauhan, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Lakshmi Menon, Remya Nambeesan have all sung for music director Thaman’s tunes. We hear that a grand event is being planned to unveil the audio.
