Selvaraghavan’s Nenjam Marapathillai will release on June 30. The film has been in production since 2014, and has SJ Suryah, Regina Cassandra and Nandita Swethaa in the lead roles.
The project was wrapped up months ago, and had been waiting on a release date since then.

While it said the film will release in June, a date hadn’t yet been fixed. The most likely date was the end of the Ramzan month, and the Eid holiday weekend. However, A Firstpost report earlier said that Nenjam Marapathillai will likely be pushed to July, as there were no screens available. Two big releases for Eid – STR’s AAA part 1, and Jayam Ravi’s Vanamagan, will both release at the same time.
However, all those issues seem to have worked out, as the film’s producer Madan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures, has announced an official release date of June 30 now.
