With Irandam Ulagam turning out to be a major failure – critically and commercially, Selvaraghavan is in need of a definitive hit. To that end, the director is now trying to rope in his brother Dhanush to play a major role in his next movie, which will have STR in the lead. Crowd pullers in their own right, the Dhanush-STR combo might well bring in the moolah for the beleaguered director.
The only catch is the notoriously selective Dhanush. After he refused outright to be a part of his father Kasthuri Raja’s recent Kasu Panam Thuttu, there is speculation that he might not consent to star in this as well.
