Actress Sanjjanaa Galrani has said that the leaked Dandupalya 2 nude scene that supposedly features her, is not her. She also alleges that the filmmakers intentionally leaked the video after the Censor Board asked for it to be removed from the film.
The actress tweeted her response to the controversy.

Sanjjanaa also said that she was told that the scene would have her showing some skin, and that it would be respectfully and sensitively shot. However, she now alleges that the filmmakers changed the scene in the edit, and have morphed her image onto a nude scene.
In her tweet, Sanjjanaa also said that she respected Indian culture and would never agree to do a nude scene.

A Times of India report quotes the director of the film, Srinivasan Raju stating that he did not know how the clip was leaked, and is now attempting to find the source. “I’ve no comments on that. It is a deleted scene. We will talk once we make headway in the matter,” he said, in response to Sanjjanaa’s statement.
The Censor Board had asked for the scene to be cut from the film.
