Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is likely to play the female lead in the Telugu remake of Thani Oruvan. The Kaththi star will reprise Nayanthara’s role in the remake, which is being directed by Surender Reddy and produced by DVV Danayya. Shooting will begin in the second week of December. Samantha is currently shooting for Vijay 59. According to the source, Samantha agreed to be part of the project as she didn’t want to lose out on an opportunity to work with Ram Charan.
