Salman Khan’s Kick 2 will release in Christmas 2019. According to reports, Salman will collaborate with Sajid Nadiadwala again for this film, which will be a prequel to 2014’s Kick.
The director has been working on the script for some time now and is likely to give the actor a narration next month. Sajid has also booked Christmas 2019 for Kick 2 and Santa Salman already. The movie may explore the backstory of Devi aka Devil, who becomes a cop at the end of Kick.

Apart from Salman, Kick also featured Jacqueline Fernandez , Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Randeep Hooda. The film was a remake of the Telugu film with the same title, starring Ravi Teja. Incidentally, the Telugu film didn’t fare too well at the box-office while the Hindi one crossed over Rs 300 crores.
Salman Khan, meanwhile, has Kabir Khan’s Tubelight in the pipeline. The film is the Hindi adaptation of Alejandro Gomez Monteverde’s 2015 movie, Little Boy and is slated for release on June 25. He is currently filming for Tiger Zinda Hai with Katrina Kaif.
