Director Mohan Raja’s Thani Oruvan has been receiving positive responses from all over, and the film, reportedly, will be remade in five different languages. The latest buzz is that Raja has decided to venture into Bollywood with Thani Oruvan, and sources reveal that he has signed actor Salman Khan to reprise the role of Jayam Ravi in the remake. Salman Khan is expected to sign the agreement in a weeks’ time.
Earlier, Raja was supposed to remake AR Murugadoss’s Tamil film Ramana in Hindi. But, the remake got shelved due to unknown reasons.
Thani Oruvan has Jayam Ravi, Nayanthara, Arvind Swami, Ganesh Venkatraman, Thambi Ramaiah and Nasser playing the lead roles. Recently, the film broke the box-office collection record of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali in Tamil Nadu.
