Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez will star in Race 3. However, Saif Ali Khan has dropped out of the franchise.
DNA reports that Salman, who was to next act in a film called Go Daddy, will now switch over to Race 3, and bring in co-star Jacqueline Fernandez. Silverscreen earlier reported that Salman and Jacqueline were cast together in the film about relationship between a father and his daughter.

Ramesh Taurani, Race 3’s producer, said, “Yes, Salman and Jacqueline are confirmed for Race 3. It will release next year on Eid.” Daisy Shah was also reportedly considered for the film, but the producers haven’t yet taken a call on her. It is reported that another actor will play second lead.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan, who played the lead in the previous two films, has dropped out on account of Salman Khan’s casting. A source told the publication, “He was the hero of the franchise. Suddenly, why would he want to be the second lead to Salman.”
