Saif Ali Khan will likely star in the first, made-for-India Netflix series, an adaptation of the book, ‘The Secret Game: A Wartime Story of Courage, Change, and Basketball’s Lost Triumph‘. This is in addition to Kabir Khan’s Amazon series based on Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, in which Saif is likely to play a soldier in the INA.

DNA reports that Netflix approached Saif Ali Khan to play the coach of a basketball team. “…will be an Indian adaptation of The Secret Game. Saif has been approached for the role of coach McClendon and is in talks for that but he cannot talk about it as it’s too early. Earlier, Kabir Khan was reportedly in talks with Saif to cast the latter in A Forgotten Army, a webseries for Amazon Prime, based on the Indian National Army and Subash Chandra Bose. According to reports, the series is about two soldiers in the army, rather than about Bose, and Saif could be one of the two soldiers.

Meanwhile, Hansal Mehta and Rajkummar Rao are also working together on a mini-series about the INA and Subash Bose.
