Malayalam actress Sai Pallavi will be making her Telugu debut with a film directed by Shekhar Kammula, starring Varun Tej Konidela. This project will be produced by Dil Raju of Sri Venkateswara Films.

The film is a love story between an NRI man in the USA and a woman in Telengana. The shooting of the film will begin on July, 25 and the Telengana portions will be completed by the end of August. The USA shoot is scheduled for October. The team plans for a December release.
Shekhar Kammula is known for films such as Anand, Godavari, Happy Days, Leader, and the recent Nayanthara starrer Anaamika. Varun Tej Konidela who is Chiranjeevi’s nephew made his debut in 2014 in the film Mukunda. He impressed many with his performance in the critically acclaimed 2015 film, Kanche, where he played a World War II soldier.
Sai Pallavi, whose debut film Premam brought her to the limelight, also performed well in her second film Kali.
