Actress Rohini has been roped in to play Sivakarthikeyan’s mother in his next film. Directed by Mohan Raja, the as yet untitled film has actress Nayanthara as the female lead and features music by Anirudh Ravichander. RD Raja of 24 AM Studios is the producer.

Speaking to Silverscreen, director Mohan Raja said: “We are thrilled to have Rohini ma’am onboard the project. She is a talented actress, and we’re all glad to be working with her. Rohini ma’am’s role is a very strong one and very pivotal to the project. This wouldn’t be the usual mother role, and will be something different.”
The team plans to film the project in Mumbai, Pune and Malaysia. The project is expected to go on the floors soon. Neeraja Kona is the costume designer while Muthuraj has been signed on as the art director. Ramji will take care of the cinematography.
Rohini is a part of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and the Tamil – Malayalam bilingual Vinodhan.
