RK’s next project is titled Vaigai Express and will go on the floors starting February 2015. Announcing this at the press meet of En Vazhi Thani Vazhi, RK confirmed that Vaigai Express would be directed by Shaji Kailas, the director of En Vazhi Thani Vazhi.

Speaking at the event, RK said, “Although En Vazhi Thani Vazhi hasn’t released yet, we have begun the spadework for Vaigai Express. Shaji, who also directs En Vazhi Thani Vazhi, explained the outline to me and I was very impressed. The whole team that worked in En Vazhi Thani Vazhi will be retained for Vaigai Express.” Shaji Kailas also directed RK’s 2008 release Ellam Avan Seyal.
En Vazhi Thani Vazhi will release in January 2015. The movie stars Poonam Kaur and Meenakshi Dixit as the female leads, with Srikanth Deva composing music.
