RJ Balaji’s LKG To Be A Political Satire

RJ Balaji is ready to make his political entry albeit through a film. His upcoming film LKG is touted to be a political satire.

RJ Balaji, along with Priya Anand who is also part of the movie, made the announcement yesterday, right before the Chennai Superkings match. In the film, the comedian mocks at the traditional political system.

Prior to the announcement, Twitter and other social media platforms were abuzz speculating that the RJ might announcement his entry into politics, but turns out it was a promotional gimmick. Film personalities and even cricketers like Dinesh Karthik were roped in for the build up.

The film will be directed by Prabhu and bankrolled by Dr Ishari K Ganesh. The final cast and crew of the film haven’t been announced yet.

RJ Balaji is also a presenter for the IPL 2018 in Tamil. He has worked in Tamil films like Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai and the latest release Diya.
