The actress said that she thought that she would be able to master Tamil dialogues with ease. “It was a huge mistake to have such a misconception. I’m curious about the language and want to have a command over it. The thing is I didn’t have enough time to learn Tamil as I had to join the shooting at the earliest.”
Suman says that her assistant helped translate the dialogues from Tamil to Hindi. She also says that the director and Jiiva were very patient with her.
The actor describes her character in the film as perky and vibrant. “My role isn’t just going to be just chirpy, but will be seen throughout the film. In fact, she will help the lead in unlocking a lot of mysteries in the film,” she said.
Riya also says that she’s glad to make her Tamil debut with producer Isari Ganesh.
The movie was launched earlier this month.
Actor Vijay Sethupathi, who acted in Rathna Siva’s Rekka, helped to launch the film. Shoot has been planned in locations in and around Mayiladuthurai.
Merku Thodarchi Malai fame Gayathri Krishna has an important role in the movie. Music is by D Imman.
The movie is a racy entertainer about friendship and is based on real incidents. The makers, Isari Ganesh of Vels Film International, hope to release the movie in the first half of 2019.
