As per the report, the authorities found out that the set was constructed without getting prior permission from the authorities concerned. It added that neither the production house nor the landowner had reportedly obtained any permission from the revenue department to construct the sets and continue the shoot.

A two-day deadline was issued to the makers by the officials to get the requisite permission from the authorities, however, the production team said that they are not responsible for getting clearances from the government as they have taken the land on lease.

A Srinivas, revenue divisional officer (RDO) for Rangareddy district, told Cinema Express that the officials demolished some portions of the movie sets. He added that his department did not receive any application from either the landowner or the production team. The production team has agreed to sort out the issue with the landowner, failing which the sets will be destroyed, he said.
