Actor Veera, who played a career defining role in the highly successful heist film Rajathanthiram, has signed three films as the male lead. Currently shooting for the sequel of Rajathanthiram, where he has already completed 20 days of shooting, the actor will also be starring in an action-thriller and a romantic comedy. Speaking to the Times of India, Veera said he felt it was daunting to perform in a romantic scene as he feels romance on screen is quite exaggerated. He added that he isn’t someone who believes in the ‘love at first sight’ concept.
The actor began his career as an assistant director with director Gautham Menon. His debut film as an actor was in Menon’s Nadunisi Naaigal. However, the movie failed commercially, and received negative reviews from critics.
