“I will die trying to do another Baahubali kind of film. It’s not a film that can be easily replicated. I believe only Rajamouli has the experience and vision to handle projects on that scale,” he said. The actor, who plays dual roles (Mahendra and Amarendra Baahubali) in the films, is currently gearing up for Baahubali – The Conclusion‘s release on April 28.

“I owe everything to Rajamouli because this is his dream and I merely supported him by taking out time,” Prabhas added.

Incidentally, in another interview, Prabhas was quoted as saying that he would be ready to spend seven years for filming Baahubali. “For Rajamouli, I would have even spent more than four years. I would have been ready to dedicate even seven years for him on the project,” he said.

SS Rajamouli, too, asserted that he couldn’t imagine anyone else in the two titular roles but Prabhas. “When I decided to make the film in such a grand scale, I knew what kind of effort and commitment was needed for this canvas. Even before I discussed the story with Prabhas, he was already in,” he said.

Meanwhile, a Firstpost report suggests that Prabhas might star in a Hindi film soon, particularly a film by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The Baahubali 2 team was in Mumbai promoting the film recently, and it is reported that Karan may have tried to convince Prabhas to make a proper Hindi debut.

However, Prabhas has claimed that he will take a break from high-octane action films for a few years as shooting a physically exhausting film like Baahubali for the last five years has taken a toll on his health.

Baahubali: The Conclusion also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Anushka Shetty. It is produced by Shobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni’s Arka Media Works and will release simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
