Actress Poonam Bajwa, who was last seen in Sundar C’s recently released in Aranmanai 2, will be playing the female lead in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam super hit, Vellimoonga, directed by Jibu Jacob. We had earlier reported that actor Sundar C will be reprising actor Biju Menon’s role in the remake. Actor Sathish, who starred in Sundar C’s Aambala, will be playing a pivotal role in this film.
The remake will be helmed by Sundar C’s former associate Venkat. Produced by Sundar C and Khushboo’s Avni Cine Max banner, this film went on floors a couple of days ago.

This film, was supposed to begin last year in March. However, since Sundar C had plans of helming a sequel to Aranmanai, Vellimoonga remake had to be postponed.
