Pooja Kumar will play a mother, opposite Rajasekhar, in PSV Garuda Vega 126.18M. Pooja will play a working mother of a 6 year old, and according to director Praveen Sattaru, she’s the best actress to share screenspace with Rajasekhar.
“I was looking for an actress who can complement Rajasekhar’s looks and age. I saw Vishwaroopam and Uttama Villain, and she nailed those roles,” Praveen said. “From a nagging wife to a caring woman, she displays several emotions, which will hog the limelight. It will be a tailor-made character.”
Pooja Kumar has a background in theatre, and was Miss India USA. She made her debut in Kaadhal Rojave, but the film and her role went unnoticed. Flavors was her breakthrough film, before landing Vishwaroopam.
Silverscreen earlier reported that PSV Garuda Vega is Rajasekhar’s comeback film. He plays a cop in this drama, and reports indicate that actor Kishore will play the villain. Sunny Leone has been cast for one song, which the director claims is crucial to the plot.
PSV Garuda Vega 126.18M is written and directed by Praveen Sattaru, who earlier made Guntur Talkies.
