Director and actor Parthiban was in for a great surprise when he attended the Anjaan songs premiere event yesterday. Actor Suriya had walked up to Parthiban, and casually informed him that he would be a part of Masss. “Suriya said he is going to act with me. When I looked bewildered, he added that we are going to work together in Masss,” revealed Parthiban. The actor also declared that Suriya is as humble as his father actor Sivakumar. “From the way Suriya interacts with other artistes, one can understand that he is modest,” he said.
The same day, Venkat Prabhu, who directs Masss, had phoned Parthiban to confirm his availability. “I like Venkat’s films and I’m so glad to be a part of his project. He said my character would be an adhiri-pudhiriyana (quirky) one. I’m sure we are going to have a blast,” he laughed.
Parthiban is currently busy with post-production work for his next directorial venture Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam. The movie hits theatres on August 1.
