The release of actor and director Parthiban’s Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam has been postponed. The film was scheduled to hit theatres on August 1st, but the actor announced the delay on twitter. At the end of a long rant clarifying how he could not respond to everyone, the filmmaker also said he was debating if he should continue on social networking sites or not.
Parthiban later confirmed that the release has been postponed due to unavailability of theatres. “Velai Illa Pattathari has been doing quite well and we couldn’t get the number of theatres that we wanted. So we thought we will delay the release for a while. We are also discussing if the film should be released before or after Anjaan‘s release,” said Parthiban. The makers will make an official announcement about the release date in a couple of days.
