Director Pandiraj,whose two recent releases – Pasanga 2 and Kathakali – are running to packed houses, said at a press meet on Monday that he has not decided on doing a movie with actor Sivakarthikeyan.

The director said that his home production house, Pasanga Productions, might not be able to afford the actor’s payment. “We had signed a 2 movie contract with Sivakarthikeyan. At this juncture, we haven’t decided on doing a movie with Sivakarthikeyan. In fact, I have planned to work on my next movie only after the release of Idhu Namma Aalu”, he said. Earlier, actor-producer Dhanush had also said that his production studio, Wunderbar Films, was not big enough to afford Sivakarthikeyan for a film.
It was director Pandiraj, who introduced Sivakarthikeyan as an actor in his film Marina. After Marina, he collaborated with Sivakarthikeyan for the second time for Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga.
Idhu Namma Aalu’s post-production process is underway. At the press meet, Pandiraj said the film’s female lead, actress Nayanthara, would attend the promotions. Nayanthara usually does not attend her movies’ promotion events.
